In the next few days I promise photos, videos and an article about the event.
At the moment we are still recovering from the event itself.
It's been very very very tiring. Our team is very pleased with the event itself but I must say we're in need of some rest.
Meanwhile, we made front cover in one of the city's main newspapers.
The title reads "Mega Drive Tournament was a success".
Our work is still not done. In the next few days we will deliver a press release about the tournament.
And we're already thinking about the next...

Some photos taken by the Braga European Capital of Youth photographer present at our event. Our photos will come later...

Well I love that it's got lots of sunlight. Flat screens. Most places I see tournaments uses tiny little crts in some basement with no natural light. Everything in your pictures is so clean and professional looking. It looks serious yet casual in all the right ways. This looks like the kind of community event needed to bring genesis gamers together.

Widescreen monitor, and nobody pressed "Aspect" button so it would zoom off the border....

Other than that, this event looked awesome

What? No way! Someone you know from this forum (afcs) was the man in charge of the lcds, if epic fail is proven, he will be terminated

Wow, it's been almost three years since my last post. But I am alive, and always connected to Sega.

On the issue of LCD's, there was no remote control, and the functions of the side buttons were quite limited. Sorry, was not our equipment.
Apart from that, I think that was the best Mega Drive/Genesis tournament ever done.

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice...

As far as I know...it's the only megadrive tournament ever done. We've never had one here that I knew about.

We're not cooler than anyone. Maybe, the difference stays on the effort applied to keep retrogaming alive here...

Sega Mega Drive/Genesis is cool, not people, we just try to be cool by playing Sega´s 16 bit power
