also interesting somehow that atlantis and riven were also a ton better on saturn than on psx. the psx verison of atlantis was downright pathetic with just still images

Huh, okay. With the Saturn mouse that actually looks really playable. I should look up if the import version of Riven also. Edit: Crap, all the text is moon language.

Edit2: DAMN! That Saturn mouse ain't cheap! $40+?

That price is wrong... Grab a shuttle mouse from Japan on eBay, it's usually much cheaper.
I got mine sometime ago for much less than that:

Look for the Sakura Taisen/Sakura Wars Limited Edition box set. It can be had for about $10-$30 last I checked. I paid around $15 for mine. It comes with a White Saturn Mouse and a mouse pad.

It really depends on shipping and other things for the price of it. It does appear to have gone up in price lately, but you'd still get a lot more for your money than you would just buying the mouse by itself.

    EDIT:

    Here's what comes in it:

    ^That's neat.

I recommended that seller 'cause you can keep you item there for the likes of 15 days and grab more stuff from his auctions in the meantime... So the shipment will be a lot more attractive IMO. He usually lists a lot of Saturn mouses.

Thanks for the tips, guys. That's more of a realistic range for something I'd just want to screw around with. I doubt I own any other games that support the mouse as of now.

Panzer Dragoon 2 Zwei I've heard also supports it. I can test it out tonight when I get home if you'd like.

That could be interesting Trekkies. I wonder if it really supports it or if it just happens to spoof the Mission Stick like the 3D Control Pad does.

And Agostin, that was more than I thought but I still only have like 5 of the games on that list. Keyboard + Mouse with Duke Nukem 3D sounds awesome, though. I'd kill to have Saturn Quake support that!

I also like Yamatoku, and seem to almost always have a tab running with him for stuff from Japan. The combined shipping is really nice, but the fact that he starts almost everything at 1c doesn't make me feel gouged because fair market value seems to prevail for a lot of things.

I was thinking of trying him for Japan Gamecube games. Not too many sellers with a selection to choose from.

Myst has less atmosphere? Really? Myst is one of the most atmospheric games I can think of which is why I played it until I found 99% of everything. I even enjoy listening to a riven playthrough because the sound is so soothing.

A bunch of unreleased SCD games are for sale on http://www.gooddealgames.com/inventory/Sega%20CD.html. There are also ROMs of Smoke & Mirrors floating around on the net.
