    Shakespeare Reader Roundtable Vol. 76

This month, our staff and readers played some games that tend to make people take sides. Regardless of how one person feels about popular games or ones that get bashed regularly, there’s always someone out there with a different perspective. So read the full article and see where our group stands!

If you sent it by email, I haven't been able to access it. My email has been giving me trouble lately. If you could PM it to me I'll add it in.

Good roundtable! I totally agree about Gunstar Heroes, that board game part is just game ruining. I'll openly admit that GH is a good game, but like Sebastian, I just can't get into it. The ugly art style and grotesque characters are also offputing for me. I'll take Contra over this game any day.

Gunstar Heroes controls never really did it for me. I'm not a huge Run n' Gun guy, but Contra definitely takes the cake as far as the genre goes. That game is tremendous! Nothing for me has really lived up to it. Gunstar Heroes, Metal Slug, they're kind of eh in comparison.

Super Hydlide does indeed have an incredible soundtrack. If it wasn't for the music, I would never have looked at it again. I do have a couple of arranged tunes from the game on my hard drive (not done by me, not sure where I got them). They sound great but the Genesis version of the music is hard to beat because it has its own charm. My only complaint would be the slightly wimpy-sounding percussion.

+1 agreed just a shame about the actual game :/
