I've been waiting for this for sooooooooooo long!
I know, right? I'll be happy to toss the Neoflash cart out (well, not literally.) I was so disappointed when I got it and discovered it only had 64 megaBITS of memory and could only hold a few roms.

It would probably help the ebay market in my case buying these flash carts lets me play these great games on the real hardware making me want the games even more badly. Emulation just doesn't give a proper demo...
Yeah, if these flash carts could possibly lower ebay's insane prices I'd be advocating them. Although, compared to about ten years ago I do appreciate that there are equal opportunity scalpers across all platforms now, rather than just Nintendo.
Now If someone could just do a Neo Geo flash cart... talk about high prices. I love my Neo, but damn, it's putting a serious dent in my wallet.
You can never have enough
Hell yeah! Been waiting for a while for a good one. And yes I agree a flash cart for the Neo would be awesome.. except I have an MVS. Just not too excited about the multi-carts.
MY SEGAS[Model 1 Sega CD x 5] [Model 1 HD Genesis w/Component Video] [Model 2 Genesis] [32X CIB] [Master System Model 3010] [Nomad w/LCD mod] [Dreamcast] [Saturn] [Game Gear]
neo geo aes flash cart with mvs adapter included ftw!
Has this been posted yet?
Looks like it's flash based....seems the mega everdrive is the only ram based everdrive...

Honestly, to me these carts are awesome for 4 reasons:
1) Saves wear and tear on the console and the games you own.
2) Lets you play a huge number of games for free and decide if they are worth your time to track down, or if you don't care.
3) Lets you play many home brew or unique/fun hacks on the real hardware.
4) Allows you to actually play some games that may be so rare or over priced you just can't get hold of the real deal.
I'm just waiting for the mega everdrive to get back in stock so I can use it with my CDx. It's the perfect portable Genesis and Sega CD solution. The only way it would be better is if I could run CD games off the cart, but I have no idea if that's even possible.
I always found it puzzling to see people who don't own a console (and never did) get excited over flash cartridges or copiers.
At the risk of sounding like a dick; what's to be excited over? If you never owned the original hardware (thus aren't used to the original controllers) and you don't plan on buying any "real" games for it, what's to get excited over? Why not just stay with emulation? It's not like you can say "Well, the real hardware experience is better" because you never had that.
