    Talking Sega-16 Year 08 Retrospective

As we round out another year of coverage, Sega-16 continues to grow and improve. The past year has brought little controversy to our little section of the web, something for which we are quite grateful, and this has let us maintain focus on bringing the best Genesis coverage possible. Read this year's retrospective for our thoughts on the past 12 months.

And thanks to Joe Redifer for the awesome Genesis shot!

I was just realizing I wrote my first review for Sega-16 8 years ago (Beyond Oasis). WTH.

Super congrats and applause for getting the site 100% restored, Ken.

Has it really been eight years already? Damn, those retrospectives really take me back... seems like yesterday that I started lurking these parts of the interwebs (took me over a year before I eventually created an account at the forums). One of the best decisions I ever made. Contributing to Sega-16 is in part responsible for getting me into the job I have today, and for that I'm very thankful.

Too bad we didn't hit a major milestone this year. But we almost have the complete 32X-library nailed down! Not much longer now...

Here's to another glorious year at Sega-16!
The funny thing about an oxymoron is, even if you remove the ox, there'll always be a moron. The Question Remains: Y?

Congratulations to Melf, Joe, and every regular contributor. Unfortunately I don't have anything more creative to say but, come to think of it, that's probably not so unfortunate.
I know you'll keep it up.

In order to be even less creative I will just say: this!

Definitely cool to see the Genesis I bought at launch in 1989 on the front page of Sega-16! Shine, my Genesis, shine!

Man time flies. It's been so many years since I've discovered this place already. I hope there will be many more.

    Shit, eight years? Wow.

All I gotta say is I can't wait for the 10th anniversary of the site.

I know I post relatively infrequently but I really love this site!
