At some point there were Everdrives without pause button added. Flygon has one such. It is trivial to add your own button though, the space is clear on the PCB.

I don't think it's supposed to be missing it.. KRIKzz never mentioned that on the Assembler forum, and I've had a few from a couple different distributors and all had a pause button.

Either way, if the solder holes are present, just solder in a switch, then it'll be over with and you can pause games.
