I have a question about my Everdrive. I have loaded import bios and they go to the bios screen and I can control the sega (now mega) cd and everything by loading the bios. My question is, if I purchased a Mega CD game would it work on the everdrive if the proper bios is loaded for it?

That is the way it is supposed to work yes. I don't think this works on US Sega CD's but from what I was able to tell the Mega CD's load the bios fine and will then work with the games.

I don't know though. I have a model 1 and it loaded the Mega CD Bios, I was able to control the tray and go into the software and even the file management area on my Sega CD. Maybe I will try a backup to verify it works before purchasing a Mega CD. If it works I would be super excited because there is a whole world of Mega CD's I have yet to try. I've been wanting to play 3X3 Eyes since I was a kid.

Huh, he said he was working on it for a firmware update, but I don't have the means to update my Everdrive's firmware.

Just watch out running the European Mega CD BIOS at 60Hz, you'll notice flickering at the top of the screen and on loading a game the Sega jingle runs fast too (70Hz or somethng?).

I tried running a few games and had sound vision sync issues and game stuttering issues. You may need to have a 50Hz switch added, let me know if you need any details on which games do what as I have a few titles which I have played through and have a bit of insight with. I have a multi BIOS chip in my PAL Mega CD by the way.

I always think [f] is French. I also always remove all of that extraneous crap from the filename.

I don't know why people would even bother to upload [b] versions which are guaranteed bad dumps. Why would anyone want these? Bad dumps? HELL YEAH LET'S OFFER THEM ON OUR SITE! PEOPLE LOVE IT WHEN IT'S CORRUPT!

Did any Genesis NTSC games have French? I know SNES does.
