Mega Man & Bass - Awesome NES-style Mega Man, way better than Mega Man 7.
Sky Blazer - Action/Platformer, kinda hard, but it's really good.
Ninja Warriors - One of my favorite beat 'em ups.

Wow... there's a game with voices just as bad as the worst on the Genesis... on the SNES?

I've played Run Saber before and am waiting for a decent price on it. I agree it's a heck of a lot of fun even though it's a shameless Strider clone and a little on the easy side. It's a smooth and satisfying experience all around. I really want to try out the multiplayer in it.
Never heard of EDO NO KIBA but it looks different, I'll check it out on an emulator.
I do want Rockman and Forte at some point for my collection but it's not a priority since I own and have beaten the GBA version a few times.
Run Saber is more of a pseudo sequel to NES Strider, but I didn't find it at all like Arcade or Genesis Strider. Strider Returns on Genesis maybe, but with better graphics. I ended up trading it, for me Strider was about the fantastic running and jumping physics, somersaulting into a group of enemies and slashing and slide tackling through them all. Run Saber isn't like that, it's an action platformer with a guy who appears to have a sword like thingy.
Here are some reasonable priced games which I think are neat:
Air Strike Patrol (A.S.P.)
Biker Mice From Mars
Cybernator
Disney's Goof Troop
King Author's World
Natsume Championship Wrestling
Q-Bert 3
Spanky's Quest
The Firemen (translated repro)
imports:
Battle Cross
Cosmo Gang the Video
Crystal Beans
Dezaemon
Doraemon 4
Dossun Ganseki Battle
Go Go Ackman
Mr. Do! (pricey US release also available)
Nichibutsu Arcade Classic (dual controller Crazy Climber, and remixes of three games)
Sanrio World Smash Ball
Shonen Ashiba Goma Chan
Sonic Wings (much cheaper then US release)
Spark World
Super Genjin 1 or 2
Zig Zag Cat
here are some fun mouse compatible games:
Arkanoid Doh it Again
King Author's World
Shien's Revenge
Mario & Wario
I have a soft spot for ball and paddle games, already named a couple but two more are the Supapon games.
The Firemen is one of my favorite games of all time. Pretty easy and just enjoyable to play. I'd love to play 2-player co-op sometime. The Playstation sequel is good too, but not as super as the SFC version.
Some I don't think any one has mentioned yet:
Pocky & Rocky (1&2)
Operation Logic Bomb
Brawl Brothers
Lock On (Mode 7 baby, yeah!)
Batman Returns
Castlevania Dracula X (A good game in it's own right. Don't know why it gets so much flack for not being the TurboCD game)
E.V.O. Search for Eden
Magic Sword
Musya
Shiens' Revenge
Wild Guns (rare and expensive, but awesome as fuck wild west cabal style game)
There's some in there I don't know much about that I'll need to check out so thanks!
I've actually always been pretty interested in The Firemen but for some reason I've never played it.
R-Type III
Contra III
Space Megaforce
Batman Returns (the best 16 bit Batman game IMHO).
Castlevania Dracula X
Demon's Crest
Actraiser 2
Ninja Warriors (slow as hell but fun).
I tried out Ninja Warriors the other day after someone else suggested it. I kind of wish it were two-player but it was a surprisingly good beat'em up.
Michael Jordan - Chaos in the Windy City
Goof Troop
It is finished!
Rendering Ranger R2 that's an affordable one...........................................if you win the lotto.
