Sonic 2012 Hacking Contest Results!

And it looks like 3 hacks swept up all the prizes: Sonic ERaZor by Selbi, Sonic the Hedgehog: Tribute by TheBarAdmin and Sonic 2 Recreation by redhotsonic

Now the first 2 are pretty awesome, and easily downloaded. The third one though, Sonic 2 Recreation I can't find ANYWHERE. There's a download for an old version on Sonic Retro, but that's obviously not the most recent release. Anyone know where to get this game? I'd really like to try it out.

That's coz the guy hasn't released it:

I submitted this game as partial-private. That means only media is avalable to you; the public. I was seriously considering making it fully-public, so you lot can enjoy. But there is only 4 levels that are completed so far. And I didn't want to keep updating the ROM every week like many others. I want to release it in its full potential glory (if that ever comes =P). So until then, here are all the main points to the game so far. What the judges will see and what to expect, what the game contains to this date, thanks and credits, the works.

The hack looks alright, but I'd much rather of liked to have seen an update on S2 Retro Remix or S Factor. Those hacks interest me far more.

Oh I see, well that's kinda weird. What's the point of submitting something to a contest (or giving it prizes) if people can't play it. It's like having a movie win an Oscar but not screening it anywhere. Oh well, whatever. And yeah I hear ya about S-Factor, I love that hack, and the screens I've seen of the updates are just amazing.
