Default Any way to navigate into a GameCube memory card?

    Hello,

    That's what I'm wondering now;
I wish to know the date when I received Sonic Heroes, my 4th GameCube game - I do know I received my GameCube in Christmas 2004, and then I bought Pokemon Colosseum on January 2005 (2nd game).
Is there a way to know when my Sonic Heroes file was created, on my GameCube memory card?

I mean created, not last accessed - that is the problem.
I've heard about a way to copy GameCube data to an SD Card from the Wii, so I could access the data on a computer; will I get the creation date, then?

I'm wondering about that, since I can't figure out when I started to hear Crush 40 music, exactly. I know Crush 40 was a band I started to appreciate really a long time ago (2005-2006, for sure), and so I'm not even sure if this was the first band I ever liked - tied between Crush 40 or Simple Plan!

I do know that the first time I've heard Crush 40 was in Sonic Heroes, actually.

    Thanks!
    GameX

Plug the memory card into the Gamecube console with no game disc inserted. Power it on and a screen will come up with a cube that can be rotated 4 different ways for different ways for different functions. Rotate the cube to "memory card" and press "A" button. Presto, you will be able to see what's on the memory card and copy and delete files. I am not sure if created-on dates and times are listed though.
    It is finished!

I think the OP is like 15 years old, in which case 6 years is more than a third of his entire life!

I've checked, the few dates listed are the last access (Last save time), which is unfortunate.

    EDIT:

Six years is considered a really long time ago?
Ya, maybe the "really" was too much; but you're right when it's 1/3 of my life, I'm 18. :P

It's okay. Some of us here are in our 70s, so six years really is nothing to us.

I'm just surprised that somebody somewhere, doesn't know where the memory card manager is in the Game Cube...

I'm 14 and I got my Nintendo Gamecube with Pikmin and Luigi's Mansion Christmas morning when I was 3 which was eleven years ago, can I say that was a long time ago?

Not from the GC Memory card manager you can't:

You MIGHT be able to get a date via a homebrew mem card manager, though.

Man... 3 years old? Damn... All I had at that age (or at least could watch someone play) was the Apple ][. I didn't even buy a copy of Pikmin until 2010 or so. It's still one of my all-time favorite Game Cube games ever, it's timeless to me in the same way Super Mario Bros. 1 is.

About figuring out the age of a save file, the best option is to find a date somewhere in the game. For example, I'm pretty sure the TimeSplitters games date the map maker files.

It's my favorite game of all time. The first game I ever played was Bugdom on the iMac, then I played Super Mario Bros and Castlevania when I was like 2 or 3, then my big brother got a PS2 with Rayman, Rayman 2, and Donald Duck Goin Quackers (If anyone hasn't played the PS2 version, you have to try it), all ubisoft games. I played it way more than him. And then I got my Gamecube.
