    Default Interview: Chris George

Gamers looking for a challenging and impressive action game need look no further than Sega's Adventures of Batman & Robin. Awesome graphical effects and some great boss battles make this one a classic. Sega-16 recently chatted with Chris George, a former artist for Adventures developer Clockwork Tortoise, and he had quite a bit to say about his time at Sega and the creation of this memorable game. Read the full interview and get the scoop!

Seems like a real nice guy. It's good to finally have a bit of information about the ever-elusive Clockwork Tortoise, makers of one of the best action games the Genesis ever saw.

Nice to finally have some insight on this developer. Have you made any more attempts to land an interview with Jesper Kyd?

I've made several attempts, all ignored.

That won't keep me from trying though.

Great interview. I can't imagine being so young and working on a game that technically blows most others away. That would look so awesome on the resume. Lucky bastard.

Isn't John O'Brien the guy who did the scaling engine for Batman Returns and Joe Montana Football as well? Please interview him. He's one of maybe 2 or 3 people in the entire world who knew that the Sega CD had a scaling/rotation chip.

Yeah, I want to know why Joe Montana Football on the Sega CD was complete trash... compared to the Genesis versions. All of them have nothing on the SMS version.
The smell of scorched oil hangs in the air as a premonition of danger, while the engine gloriously shouts its war cry...

Throughout history, suspicion has always bred conflict. The real conflict, though, resides in people's hearts. This conflict has just begun.

great interview, Mr. George seems like a really nice guy. I can't believe how young he was when he started working in the business! That is really amazing.

I always wondered why Clockwork Tortoise disappeared so quickly. I'm surprised someone so young was working on Genesis games, too. Very interesting stuff.

Nice interview. Did you managed to find what is he doing right now in the industry?

He's a game artist for Activision. He most recently worked on Gun and Tony Hawk's Project 8.
