The controls are fine, thats not my problems with the game. "Bland tracks with no roadside detail, unimpressive and ugly graphics, and garbage music".

This game just has no charisma. Just seems like its a dev team's first attempt at a racing game.

It does, it's a completely different handling model. I like Sega GT and the sequel on the XBox is one of the best racers of all time
    Panzer Dragoon Zwei is
one of the best 3D shooting games available

The OG Xbox version does look like it corrected some of the problems I mentioned. I have it on my shelf and will try it soon.

I gave Sega GT one more chance. Played it for a couple hours.

My opinion does not change. This game has atrocious graphics. I honestly think Ridge Racer Type 4 has better lighting and shadows than this game. The cars have super dark tinted windows, and I don't think this game uses any form of post-processing effects whatsoever. It does have decent polygon counts, maybe around 1-1.4 million per second. But thats the only thing it has going for it.

This game got similar ratings as Driving Emotion Type-S, but I had a lot more enjoyment with that game. And definitely looks better from a graphical standpoint.
