    Default trash drivers

I am so sickened after what I saw today, while driving home. This idiot was throwing trash at this lady at a red light, just because she accidentally got into his lane (he was in her blind spot).. She moved back into her own lane knowing it was an accident.

It should have ended there, but would this a**hole let it end right there? No, he thought that cursing her out, throwing trash into her window would settle things.

I got so pissed off seeing that happen, that I just kept honking my horn until he got pissed off at ME, instead of her, and until he drove off and left her alone. Finally that happened, and he sped off at 100mph on a 45mph road. What shocked me, is that there's cops normally on this road, and non where there today.

Have you ever seen such ridiculous drivers? Seriously, I don't care what the lady did, no one should ever treat a lady like that. That kind of thing just pisses me off..

(Oh yea, the guy driver thought it would be funny to slam his brakes on me, to make me rear end him. Luckily I'm always alert, so nope, I didn't hit him But that guys bumper was totally trashed and looks repainted. I guess this isn't the first time.)

Oh yeah. So much in fact I often think of attaching a camera to the car and making a weekly show of it on YouTube. Seriously.

This chap probably was a cop - ignorant breed of arrogant tossers.

And I apologise in advance to anybody on here who is a cop/knows a cop/has anything to do with the police force.

Mr. Smith, I know some cops - my dad used to be one and did road patrol and he'll admit there are good and bad cops. So don't sweat it.

Anyway, I get the road rage pretty bad.

This is why I both hate driving and wish it was harder for people to get a license.

Nothing makes me angrier that watching some dumbshit driving their car and *TALKING ON THEIR CELLPHONE*. A man on a bicycle was killed when some girl veered into the other lane while driving and downloading ringtones. The penalty for such an act was $1,000 fine and probation.

I want a bumper sticker that says "That is a car, not a phone booth. Hang up and drive."

My best head shaking moment was watching a cop speed by me while talking on his cellphone. Pure class

A week or so ago when driving home from work, I found this guy tailgating me. I know I didn't previously cut him off and I always signal when changing lanes. I think that he was angry that I was only going 68 in a 65mph zone. I bet he needed to get home fast and go diarrhea. Anyway he soon whipped around me and passed me on my right. As he did, I glanced at him with a neutral expression on my face, and he began angrily shouting something thinking it would improve the quality of his life or something. I couldn't hear him as both of our windows were up. Not sure what pissed him off, but I let it go.

People who succumb to road rage are pathetic wimps. I myself have a very short temper, yet almost infinite patience on the road. Sure, I'll cuss at drivers/situations, but never so they can see or hear what I am saying. I don't wave my fist/finger or even make eye contact when I am pissed. That's because I'm a real man.

Pisses me off also when people talk on the phone. The law isn't really enforced in New York State. Some of the people who tailgate me really suprise me... I was going the speed limit on this backroad - the speed limit is the same as the city for some reason, and this old lady, who was wearing black sunglasses that would make Stevie Wonder proud decided to tailgate me, I floored that bitch up to 55 - way past the speed limit, and sure enough, when I was going 55, the bitch was still tailgating me. When I pulled in this plaza, she didn't tailgate me then.

One time, I had this guy in this huge ass truck tailgate me, and followed me quite a bit - I thought he was going to kill me, since he was following me for almost a mile and all around this hilly area.

And I ALWAYS go 35 in the city, unless there is a speedtrap. Why do people tailgate so much then?

There wasn't anything ridiculously dangerous about it, but one thing that annoys me is those morons who don't pull up far enough to trigger a green light. Then they sit there for five minutes wondering why the light hasn't changed. And then honking won't work on them. So you have to get out of your car, go up to their window, tell them they're a moron and that they have to pull up closer to the light. That happened today.

I also hate driving around campus, or hell, even the city, when class is in session. I'm not, but most college students are terrible drivers. They talk on their cell phones and lean out the windows to yell at random people they know walking on the sidewalk and generally don't pay attention. It's gotten to the point where I run through crosswalks. Too many people have been hit on them by morons.

where i live, because too many people don't know how to trigger the traffic lights weight sensor, they switched to Intelligent Traffic Light systems.. each traffic light has many cameras, each pointing to each intersection it controls. It has specific lanes to look for, and will count how many cars are in a lane, and how long they have been waiting for. It will allow inteligent decisions on what to do, to make less traffic occur.

I remember the first day they set one up, the whole intersection had to be police controlled, because it was raining, so the system defaulted to ALL RED as it couldn't see..

they long since fixed that and have it switch to a "Timer" if it can't see, and also have better algorithms to allow it to see when raining..

I believe the cameras are thermal, and respond to engine heat. They also tell a person crossing the street, how many seconds they have until the computer switches the lights on them... I think it's really cool.

they can also take pictures of speeders, and email the local police with a picture of the license plate, and the status of what the speeder did, AND their speed.. i think they have a +10mph threshold...

I have lived and visited many states and only one thing is constant...people drive stupid in every one of those states.

I would offend my 10-15 yr old self by saying that I hate driving but I do. The only time I am ever happy on the road is when I am the only person on the road. I don't have to worry about some jerkoff driving stupid and causing me to wreck.

1 to 4 in the morning is the absolute happiest time of the day for me to be behind the wheel. For the reason stated above.

I'm not sure why people tailgate. If I am being tailgated, I never increase my speed unless I was going under the limit for some retarded reason. If I am going about 5mph above the limit and still being tailgated for no reason, I tap my brake lights really quick (without actually engaging the brakes). Worst case scenario is that they'll get startled by the sudden brakes and increase their distance. Best case scenario is that they'll really get startled, slam on their brakes, roll over and die. The world would cheer.

My mom and dad are cops. I only take the apologize for my mom.

I generally hate motorcycle drivers (apologize in advance ). Even if you are at the speed limit, they ALWAYS overtake you, even at roads where overtakes are forbidden. I am so sick of that, they think they own the road and can do whatever they want.

I'm always afraid I'm going to squash puny motorcyclists and bicyclists. Having them around me makes me incredibly nervous since they are so weak and fragile.
