Genesis Link-Up Cable only for Zero Tolerance? Or are other games out there?

    Hello everyone,

I have a question about the Link Up Cable that was available from Accolade when buying Zero Tolerance game.

Does anyone knows if are out there other games, rather than Zero Tolerance, that are supported by this cable?

Thank you, and I'm sorry if this question was already answered

    Game Boy

Man oh man! What I would give to have a chance to play the game in 2-player co-op! One of the coolest concepts to come out of the early 90s! Having said that, the Nintendo "Game Link Cable" was utilized effectively for the beloved Game Boy and it's future line of handhelds.

You could play 16-player deathmatch in Faceball 2000 on the Game Boy. I really wonder if it's ever been done, considering you have to get 16 people together each with a Game Boy and the game and 7 4-player adapters... But still, it could be done!

For a handheld that lacked color, the original Game Boy was such a fun device to use.

One fine summer day I was walking past a baseball field and saw a couple of kids playing with their Game Boys. What caught my attention was the excitement that they were expressing. It was only after witnessing what they were doing that it dawned on my what they were buzzing about! Multiplayer 4 the win!

It was that damn Game Link Cable and what it could do that sold me on the original Game Boy!

Actually, because of the way the gameboy link cable and four player adapter (the grey original one, that find bundled in F1 Race) works, it couldn't be done... The code was left in the cartridge but no game link cable supported it in the nineties.

It's only with the GBA link cables, therefore since 2001, that you can actually do it on original hardware without modding a thing.

So we recently bought out ZT IP. including sequel and cable.

We will re issue (in the future) a new ZT with a new level, finish BZT and will do a run of the cables professionally.

    But first Jim power.

Will gasega68k be going through the source and seeing if there's any optimization possible? I mean if you're gonna release a special edition of the first one anyway.

We'll do optimizations, but don't know if Gasesak will be in charged, I haven't heard from him in a while.

Quick question Piko, when you aquired the ZT IP did it also come with design documents for the 2nd game?
I mean, what they were planning and everything? bosses/levels/story/characters?

Or will you have to create everything yourself?

They gave us 4 sets of the full design documents. I need to scan them. Lots of negative films of enemies concepts. A shit ton of stuff, full source code, etc etc.

Definitely enough to finish up the game, also extra content for the first game.
