    it looks great, i'm not a fan of every hit knocking the other person down though, at least thats how the videos all appeared, i might be wrong though as i've yet to load the newest demo on my shield. great work though, the KI characters look cool

    In the last version 'GFE_turbo_148" I use some fps counter and also use the correct vblank in the to loop of fights, with this I knew the limites this source code offers, and it is about 30 fps with full abuse of paralax scrolls, or 45 fps with only one plane using scroll and raster, each plane using paralax or raster reduce arround 15 fps. So we can choose betwen effects or speed, or just balance it.

    I and Linkeui are working on two projects, GFE demo rom free (Genesis Fight Engine) and FFR new original game (Fight for Revenge). FFR will use the same source code I wrote for GFE, but off course we will create all arts for this game, we alrealy done the musics, stages, some sound effects and the fighters mecanics, left to do fighters "sprites" and voices and it is actually it is running at 45~60 fps.

    Unfortunatly this Engine becomes something extrem complex, it runs over 256 interactive variables, my initial plane was create something easy to be possible that anyone edit and use it, but it is a true monster.
    I have uploaded an easy and more simple version of this Engine inside my Discord channel, but until now no one was able to use it, but this is not my intention, just because after one year writing this source I note that it is almost impossible to programers guys use it widouth my help.

    We can use frames until the limite of rom, I made each characters until now with arround 66 animated frames, but I will improved it to 99 frames soon in the Fight for Revenge project, a new comercial game with our own characters.
