I like that track, too. I believe it's the one in the canyon right above the Village of Much Sand towards the beginning of the game (forget the actual track name, sorry).

To the people who have gotten the new OST collection/whatever it's called; Does the new Enhanced Soundtrack CD work fine with the game whereas the previous one that came with the game didn't in the same system? Curious to find out.

Most of them didn't work because they were poorly pressed. CD-Rs of the same image generally worked perfectly, though.

Here is what I said on the matter:

There are many different factors behind the troubles: CDs are made differently these days compared to back then, CD units are old, there were many BIOS revisions and we couldn't possibly have tested on all of them and so on. We did what we could, have apologized for the inconvenience and released the disc ISO for download to somewhat "make up for it". We have never tried to fool or lie to anyone as people have suggested, it has more been a kind of communication problem which is easy to happen when not all of us speak English natively (me included). Again, sorry, sorry, sorry, we've learnt a lesson and it won't happen again!
I'll say it again: we've never sensibly lied to people or tried to fool anyone, and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Do YOU have any games you want to get rid of that haven't been reviewed on the site and needs to be beaten for the sake of this project? Send 'em to me and I'll review and beat them! I'll pay for shipping of course. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

LOL, BIOS revisions. How many Sega CD BIOSes are there? You do know that you can load CD BIOSes with a flash cart, right? LOL. Why would a CD-R work on the same BIOS the normal CD failed with? The TurboGrafx/PC Engine CD drive is far more finicky than the Sega CD in what it will play, but people have made homebrew stuff with pressed CDs which ran perfectly. If Watermelon meant no deception (of which I will take your word), then they simply did not know what they were doing originally. But they never admitted the reason for the fuck-up. They're too proud so they send Zebbe in who has no actual first-hand knowledge of the situation or technical knowledge (BIOS revisions, LOL). If Fonzie did everything he could to make sure the CD worked, then Fonzie is a man of few actions and little research. You guys need a better Fonzie. One who knows what he is doing. One who doesn't go for the cheapie Chinese disc pressing plants.

He did it because he had to. They initially charged too little for Pier Solar. They had to do it as cheaply as they could and they were probably still losing money.

So, back to the original question: Does the new Enhanced Soundtrack CD work fine with the game whereas the previous one that came with the game didn't in the same system?

Why do you want people to "start" crying?
