The battles are random now, but it is just this demo.

The battle system itself is the biggest challenge. Wheter the battles are random or not, it can be decided later. I myself prefer the "avoidable" battles like in Grandia 2 or Chrono Trigger.

Later on, we will carry some polls on the message board to decide those controversial subjects.

I´ll just ignore the sound-question because it is not my metier...

about the demo: We originally planned to release it January 1st;P
But we found it unfit to be released in the state it was.

Usually, you don´t see demos until the game is almost done; earlier demos are for journalists only. So we think the expectations of the average gamer for demos is a bit high, meaning we polish it as good as possible to make it really playable although it´s still so early.

We hope to have it out within a few weeks however.

What a strange name for an awesome looking homebrew RPG game! Will the box art be ugly like the ones that were released for the system back then? The re-release of Beggar Prince with the hideous artwork on the front was great! It brought me fond memories.

What means the game would be a RPG loke Sword of Vermillion. OK i think the gameplay will be very different (and the graphic too) but they get the right genre.

The name inspires hope for me, its not some run of the mill title like "dragon's quest" or some other stereotypical attempt, take for instance Sorcerer's Kingdom (a lame name in itself) which i completed a few days ago, which was the most average run of the mill pile of garbage, really not worth the time, from the title straight through to the finish it was so bloody tame, the synopsis of pier solar sounds great. So i hope it lives up to the expectations and provides diverse and quality story telling, and having a fair idea of daniels taste in rpgs and stories it should be every bit of that, regardless of whether he's writing it or not..
