ROM bugs have been removed to enabled smoother working on hardware. The frame delay is now set to 6 ms as default. If you press the A button you can enable the frame delay counter and alter the milliseconds (ms) between frames. Use up and down to increase and decrease the frame delay. It would be nice to try and work out what the optimal ms is on hardware so I can set it as the default in the ROM. You can press Start to replay the animation from the beginning at any point.

Still looking for the VGM of the associated track if anyone has it.

2 dislikes cripes people are hard to please! Would be grateful if someone could film this on real hardware I'd do it myself but I'm presently campaigning to get an everdrive: https://www.gofundme.com/sega-megadr...me-development

That's awesome! I got it running on my Mega Everdrive. I set the frame delay to about 75 and it ran fine! I've recorded a video of it and am uploading it to my YouTube channel. If you could get sound in this, that would be INSANE.

Sorry for the interference. I had a fan on right near the tv.

Here's a 90ms test on a Nomad, with the official cinematic playing on a monitor behind it for reference.

Thanks for all your help folks 88 to 90 seems to be the sweet spot on emulator. I'll no doubt need refine the code to cater to NTSC and PAL regions. I'm just in the process of syncing it with the music *cough cough*. I'll release the music version once the artist is happy it sounds okay I won't say who it is! I'll let them reveal themselves

I just tried your new version; both the address crash and the random pixels are gone. Looks great.

We should have the version including sound up by this evening! We've had some difficulties with sound as neither of us can test on real hardware! All emulators seem to play the the music slightly different. Thus we won't know if the end result will be accurate until someone records it

And here we are! Huge thank you to Alianger! He conjured up the VGM in super quick time, I'm not sure if he has a PayPal account but I think he definitely deserves a lot of credit for working with me on this! We had to lose some frames from the start of the animation to fit the VGM in. I converted this to XGM to free up about 60KBs! Thanks Stef for his help getting it working with his XGM sound driver. I had to do some major changes to the way the code did things to help prioritise the audio playback. Usual controls apply: A to enable the frame delay controls and Start to reset the video.

Please feel free to donate to my go fund me so I can get a cart to test this stuff locally in future: https://www.gofundme.com/everdrive-fund-raiser

That sounds incredible. Tested and works perfectly on real hardware. Mind blowing

Looks like 87ms is the closest I can get it to match up. It needs to come down a tad from there to line up perfectly, but anything lower than 87ms causes it to cut out prematurely.
