    Master System Fantasy Zone II

Opa-Opa's second adventure on the Master System may not be as classic as his first, but it's still some quality shooter action. Great gameplay and solid design overcome some hardware shortcomings (particularly regarding sound) and make for an excellent addition to anyone's Master System library. Read the full review for more details.

The review itself is fine but the score clashes with it. Calling it an excellent shooter and giving it a 7 seems off.

I hate scoring games and always consult the Review Manifest before assigning a number. I went with "7" mainly because of the stock SMS music -- Great fun but notably lacking in a few areas (i.e. too short, poor music, etc.) -- along with some minor nuisances like the absence of the map, the flat graphics, and a cheap boss or two.
