    Default OSSC

    OSSC Newsletter Issue 17
    The wait is over!
    Hi xxxxxxxxx,

Today we have some excellent news for anyone still holding off ordering an OSSC. We've now officially cleared the backlog of pre-orders for all batches and still have OSSC units in stock for Christmas.

That means, if you want an OSSC, there are no waiting lists, no pre-orders and no queues. Just go right ahead and order an OSSC and have it shipped in 1-2 days and of course we ship worldwide.

From Videogame Perfection to me. Just if anyone is interested. It's a great little unit

Mine just arrived - This thing is a game changer. I previously had a cheapo Scart to HDMI and another Scart to Component.

Just alot of Lag and some games would work better on 1 than the other. I can't comment on the Framemeister but the OSSC shines on all my retro consoles.

I wish I would of just picked it up before buying a bunch of cheapo options.

It's great isn't it? I plan on retiring my XRGB when I get a TV that will accept the line x3 / x5 options. It's just so much simpler to use.

It's absolutely fantastic, I've been recording all my footage for the trailer with it, and doing a playthrough of Jurassic Park in 1080p on the big TV. I've never seen my games look like this outside an emulator.

Not very user friendly, though. Took a while to figure out the menu system (even with the manual), and still haven't figured out which button on the remote changes source/input. Another thing that took me a while was figuring out how to route audio from the HD Retrovision cable into VA-IN-3, but got there in the end. There was a tiny switch on the PCB to change it from output to input!

I've just ordered the remote overlay they announced today, hopefully that helps a little

They've got a really, really good thing going here. If future versions make it more consumer friendly it'll really help people trying to get (back) into playing retro games on original consoles in a post-CRT world.

I read the first half of your post and copied the link above. And then read the second half. I posted the link anyway!
