Default General Chaos 4 way play?

    Hi there,
I am looking at buying General Chaos (PAL) and see that there may be 2 versions. The original game says 2 players but there seems to be another version that says '4 way play' on the front and 1-4 players on the back. Does this mean there are 2 versions of the game? And is that 4 players playing against eachother on the screen at once? Is this game compatible with the official sega multi tap? There seems to be little information about this.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Ive tested a rom in Fusion and found out that it will be compatible with the MK2 sega multitap if I use the 'extra' switch.

I also found a better scan of the cover and see that both say for 4 players.

    Problem solved

On EA games, you may have to use the "4 Way Plays adaptor made by EA, not the standard Sega one. I seem to recall that EA games needed the EA adaptor. You may want to look into it before trying it with real hardware.

What the "extra" mode in later Sega multitaps does is simulate the EA multitap, so it's basically the same thing.
