I can finally get rid of my saturn controllers and usb converter. I played through all of rayman origins with this, it worked great. I haven't used it through bluetooth, I just use the usb cable.

Ordered one today. I really hope its good . I've been burned too many times on 3rd party controllers like the retrofighters 64.

Hm? The Brawler64 is excellent, I have several colored ones.

The analogue stick is complete ass. Way too sensitive. Though the M30 2.4g is spot on.

I picked up the Bluetooth version recently, and while it's pretty good, it's not the bee's knees I thought it would be. Bought it a spare controller to be used occasionally on a Switch or Raspberry Pi. It has a couple different modes you can boot it up in by holding down button combinations (Switch Pro Controller, Windows, Android, Mac). The Switch mode has noticeable lag. Windows mode makes it so you cannot access two of the options buttons or the shoulder buttons (!?). The only functional setup I was able to find for this on a Raspberry Pi was to boot it in Android mode. I'll gladly agree that the d-pad is better than 99% of other controllers out there, but it is definitely not the same as the godly 6 button Genny pad or Saturn pad. Alright for most games but for fighters I'll stick with my wired Hori Fighting Commander (or a proper stick).

The m30 D-Pad feels almost clicky. It offers tactile feedback. If yours isn't clicky or precise, i would just return it.

I've gotten many email request asking if my Uni-Gen PCB is compatible with this (edit: it might be, but is untested as of yet).

Im more excited about the krikzz joyzz which appears to be better quality.

I'm getting the same impression that the 8bitdo M30 2.4 is very comparable to the Krikzz Joyzz.

I just received my M30 2.4 so I'll get a chance to compare firsthand.

I don't see what the hype is all about, I somehow can't imagine that these are better quality than Krikzz new wireless pad
They probably aren't better, but they're $25 and readily available from Amazon.

Never used the Joyzz, but if it's identical to the original 6 button pad I actually like the shape of the 8bitdo a bit more.

    looking forward to your review.

cheap $25 chinese sweatshop controller from unknown place or high quality detailed spec OEM based design from one of the best developers in the Retro community... sounds like a no-brainer to me.

Unknown place? Nigga, is you high? Which one of these products is sold nationally, and which one is sold out of a dude 's basement in the third world?

Yeah, these aren't those cheapy no-name controllers you find all over Ebay and Amazon, these are quality controllers made by a company that's been known for quality controllers.

I love my M30 2.4G controllers, it's a very comfortable design in my hand. They are definitely not cheaply made controllers.
I'll never go back to the OEM design again even if you paid me, and that's considering I swore by the Sega 6 button controller for decades.

Just got my 2.4g controller, I decided to play through Streets of Rage 2 to test it out. Its super comfortable, and really well built. The D-pad feels a little squishy to me but still responsive. No noticeable input lag. My only complaint so far is that I noticed I was getting dropped inputs, Im sitting 3 feet away from my console with a clear line of site, pretty disappointed in this. I also have the JOYZZ controller and dont have this issue whatsoever. Im hoping that it was just a fluke because I really like the fit and feel of these controllers.
