Default Super Street fighter 2 megadrive with cd oST?

I see games like topgear 2 and rock and roll racing hacks with cd music .
It's possible to make that on ssf2 of megadrive?
    Cheers!

Sure it's possible, but someone would need the want and the know-how to do it.

Personally, I'd rather see that done with Mortal Kombat 2, especially the 32X version. That music is a bummer and makes the 32X version seem like an even weaker upgrade than it already is.

I think the consensus will be and remain that Super Street Fighter II for the Genesis simply is what it is:
Great playing, good looking, terrible sounding.

Cart mods, sound patches, Sega CD or 32X peripheral-use, etc., I'm sure it would have been done by now for a game as acclaimed as SSFII.

Perhaps someday something will come about, but even then the topic of the sound issue that plagues SSFII's Genesis port will continue endlessly on the forum here.

I used to swear that this game used to distort the sound on my television built-in speakers...

There are versions of SF2: CE and Super that use a new sound driver that sounds much better. They work just fine on real hardware when using a Mega Everdrive and sound MUCH better. I assume you can also get them flashed to a cart as well if that is your jam.

This is a good video showing off the not garbled voices - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4Mx7w0O_oc

That's my go-to version of the ROM for use on real hardware. It'd be super cool if somebody took that a step farther and made it work with a specially arranged CD, but at least the voices aren't terrible now.
