Default Tšnzer - A New Action Platformer coming in 2019!

    Hey Everyone,

Tšnzer is a Hack-and-Slash platformer being developed exclusively for the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive with a planned cartridge launch in 2019.

The game already had a successful Kickstarter.

Moreover, this Thursday, at 9PM GMT / 4PM EST I'll be livestreaming an early demo build of the game while interviewing the lead developer. Be sure to stop by and ask any questions you have regarding the game or its development:

I'm one of the supporters on Kickstarter, and really happy with that. The demo is great! Old-school arcade action made by someone who really knows what he's doing. Can't wait to play the full game.

Yep. Reminds me of Strider, Run Saber, & Ninja Gaiden smooshed together.

Thank you for your valuable work for the retro community!

A curiosity, the HUD moves dynamically when the player reaches the top of the screen, is it to avoid sprite flickering?

It's made to not obstruct the view. But I guess it helps to avoid flickering as well.

A nice pseudo-surreal art direction within the game. Very early 90s. Very eyecatching and imaginative.

Oh man! I just received my copy of this game but I'm the process of moving and all my Sega stuff ( games, console, crt ) is boxed up. It has a Mega Cat Studios, so that's a thing.

I think it has to do with the fact that Mega Cat Studios is fulfilling orders.

Who else is surprised by this game? I didn't know what to think at first. From seeing gameplay videos before I had the game I wasn't really impressed.
But playing the game is a totally different experience. It's actually pretty good.

At the end of stage one if you go 'right' you get to the hang man boss; who I cannot beat!
But I can beat the boss if I take the 'down' path. Pretty cool.

And the controls are so tight and responsive.
