Master System Disney's Aladdin (Master System)

Most gamers think of the Genesis or SNES versions when talking about Disney's Aladdin. There was also a Master System release that actually followed the movie's plot more closely than its 16-bit siblings. It was a fun game that was a bit too easy but played and looked great. Fans should consider a return to Agrabah for one more romp with Prince Ali. Read the full review for more details.

This game was a very pleasant surprise. I was expecting a watered-down version of the Mega Drive / Genesis game, but I liked the Master System game a lot.

I like it too. It's surprising to see a game with such a focus on narrative on an 8-bit system, and I like both platforming styles (the auto-running levels and the non-linear levels). It's definitely something I'd recommend for a playthrough, especially since it's so easy. I think pretty much anybody should be able to beat it within two hours at most. But there's not much to keep you playing beyond that, so I do think a 7 is fair (as long as you don't consider a "7" to be bad, as some people seem to).
