It's hard to pick just one.

And it's even harder when games that you think are exclusive are available on something called the 'Nintendo Virtual Console' or 'Playstation Network.'

...Whatever the hell those are. Of the consoles I own:

    NES Vice: Project Doom
    SMS Ninja Gaiden
PCE EVERYTHING I LIKE HAS BEEN PORTED
    GEN Twinkle Tale
    SNES Gundam Wing: Endless Duel
    PCECD Rayxanber III
    GENCD Robo Aleste
    GEN32X Shadow Squadron
    3DO Lucienne's Quest
    JAG Super Burnout
    SAT Fighters Megamix
    PS Granstream Saga
    N64 Sin & Punishment
    DC Sturmwind

    GB Solar Striker
    LYNX Wyvern Tales
    GG Sylvan Tale
    NGPC Faselei!
    GBA Iridion II
PSP Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core

I think that JC not is exclusive. There is a Nes version.

Personally I'd nominate Immercenary though that's an offbeat choice. I certainly (and unexpectedly) enjoyed it, though.

A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."

Yeah, that game was exclusive and one of the very best from the original run.

I thought about listing Pick Axe Pete or Killer Bees for the Odyssey˛. It took me a while to warm up to PAP (!) but it's fun. Killer Bees is a very original design.

But Smithereens is just so fun with two people, and the Voice commentary seals the deal. "You blew it!"

Yep . My mum got me the system in 84 for my Birthday, when a local shop was selling the stock on the cheap. I got PickAxe pete with the system and loved it.

Neo•Geo Pocket Color - SNK vs Capcom: Match of the Millennium, plus about another 20 or so awesome exclusives...

NEO•GEO AES/MVS - Blazing Star, but I’ll also throw in Pulstar, Prehistoric Isle 2, Mark of the Wolves and the legendary Last Blades.

You're right - I'm familiar with the Saturn port.

In my mind if it doesn't exist in English to the point I can understand the game, then it doesn't exist at all.

Which for me makes Lucienne's Quest such an incredible feat for the 3DO. It is a legitimately good RPG, and the 3DO is the only place to play it for English-speakers.

Yeah, with an RPG, I'd agree that "exclusive English release" is de facto console-exclusive. And the 3DO version allegedly beats the pants off the Saturn port, though I haven't played them both to know firsthand.

That's one of the nice surprises in the 3DO library, that a few of the multiplatform games really are better on the 3DO, which (as I understand it) is sometimes thanks to certain quirks/flexibilities in the way the 3DO handles color bit depth.

Not meaning to venture off-topic but speaking of the 3DO, I just watched a really well made vid on it by Sega Lord X. Good stuff.
