Default Wild Metal the non-working game

This article describes an issue regarding Wild Metal (pal version) which seems to be unplayable. I own two copies myself and sadly experienced the same issues too. So I would like to know if there is someone who can confirm to own a working copy of the game or are all Wild Metal copies faulty? What about the US version? Does the bugs described in the article occure there too?

I've never heard of that bug. Wild Metal is considered on of those hidden gems on the DC and it has been on my top list of DC games I need to get.
A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."

I checked my copy and it seems fine.
