Which turns out to not be anything to do with Sonic CD but rather a demo reel. But it's the source of the pics of Sonic standing on a disc! (so that solves a mystery)

I caught the stream live and had a blast. Also, the Palmtree Panic Past BGM is awesome! I can't wait to see what's found buried in these protos.
