5 days left, less than 4K to go for the initial goal. Very promising this game is going to happen.

Yeah, like how the fact WM already released Pier Solar reassured investors.
It's been so long that I can barely remember but I thought there was a playable demo of Pier Solar released early on in the process.

Yep. Though it was really, really rough and early compared to the final game. Lots of the graphics were reworked or replaced and the battle system was completely different in the released version.

Anyway, I've backed this project for the ROM download. Despite the amateurish Paprium influence (who cares about an arcade cab or online mode?), I want to believe and support such projects.

I just assumed the on-line mode is for the modern platforms.

…you know, rechecking the kickstarter (since I never really cared much about it) and LOL I just see what they did, the $1,000,000 goal is for Mega Drive on-line (modern platforms have a much more decent goal). I guess they weren't planning to take that one seriously :P (and if it did hit then who cares, lots of money to waste on it)

4 days to go and still shy about $1500 USD.

I've always wondered, if you're this close and a campaign owner do you just make a pledge of the missing amount of your own money to get you over the hump?

I feel like once it hits that fully pledged point it'll snowball forward a bit more as well.

I've given the demo a try. It looks and feels quite good overall.

It's an early version, but 2 things I'd change:

    * The background of the beginning of the first stage looks beautiful, but it's too static. I think adding scroll to those black and blue clouds which improve it a lot.
    * The sprite of the player looks good and moves well, but I don't like it not having a face expression. Simply adding a hint of eyes, nose and mouth would make it better.

I'm down for getting the rom. I'd really like to get the physical copy, but that option is pretty darn expensive.

Looks like they hit the goal with 3 days left. Wow! I was thinking they might not make it but things really did pickup towards the end. I think the demo helped out tremendously.

C’mon guys, still more backers needed — we gotta get to two-player co-op mode! Less than €9,000 to go!
