I always have my Sega CD attached to my Genesis like everyone else, but do I need to plug it in even if I知 only playing Genesis games?
I keep it plugged in while playing Genesis games. I'm not sure if there are any consequences to having the SCD unplugged while playing regular Genesis games. My main fear is that the SEGA CD will try to pull current through the connection with the Genesis and burn something out even if the SCD is idle.
That's an interesting question though, and I would like to hear from someone more knowledgeable than I am about the topic.
