    Default top 10 European exclusives

So there's this one and other threads, but I just wanted a quick top 10 European exclusives (as in not released in the US, Japan, etc.). Here's mine, with the best sports games unlisted:

1 Micro Machines 96 (lots of fun, 8 player simultaneous without multi-tap) + M.M. Military?
    2 Maui Mallard + Brazil
    3 Flink
    4 Cannon Fodder
    5 Street Racer + Brazil
    6 Psycho Pinball + Australia
    7 Power Drive
    8 Worms
    9 F1 World Championship Edition
    10 Populous II

5 honorable mentions: Man Overboard, Second Samurai, Hurricanes, Snake Rattle & Roll, Super Skidmarks.

    top 5 sports games:
    1 Sensible Soccer I.E.
    2 ISS Deluxe + Brazil
    3 Sampras 96
    4 Jimmy White's Whirlwind Snooker
    5 Brian Lara 96

So yeah no French/Belgian comic book games for me, though they look actually great.

I rather liked the first Smurfs game on Genesis, though the second one is a drag. The Master System games are better, quite good actually.

Not smitten with Worms -- at least, not the Mega Drive version -- or Sampras Tennis '96 (my review of the latter here).

BTW there are nine PAL exclusives left to beat for the thread, if anyone wants to help out.

I would say it's in the top 15 as you can see. Anyway I just realized I mentioned almost a third of the games already...

Flink came out on Sega CD in the US, so does it really count?

Also, I do enjoy the Cannon Fodder port.

Maui Mallard, Street Racer and International Superstar Soccer also aren't european exclusives. All released on Brazil and you can play the carts on NA consoles in 60Hz.

I don't have a top 10, but Smurfs 1 is my favorite for sure Also really like Spirou, though the difficulty is insane, in my opinion. I'm with goldenband on Worms - I love the original game on PC, but don't much care for the Mega Drive port.

Do they fit in NTSC consoles? This is news to me. I'm all about getting on that ISS and Maui Mallard.

    - Populous II is not that great to play on console, is it?
    - Brazil is a European country, everybody knows that by now.
    - Flink: I'm just talking about stock console carts. CD and 32X have their own set of exclusives
    - I've updated OP as it is true that Street Races is way better than the not so awesome port of the mighty Worms, though it's still fun, but visually underwhelming.

Worms was originally released for the Amiga in 1995 before being ported to PC. Makes it even more galling that the MD port is so bad as the MD handles most Amiga ports much better than this particular substandard affair.

I strongly agree with Micro Machines 96. It is a phenomenal game that has passed the test of time very well. The multiplayer on this is rivaled by phew games. I have introduced this games to people who have never played it before and have little interest in retro gaming - all loved it once they got the hang of the top down perspective.

Cannon Fodder is also an awesome game. I imported the Mega Mouse just to use it for this game. A++
