Just got the first issue of the Spanish version, which is actually from November (Spanish mags always come about 4 months later here in Argentina), and it's a massive guide on microcomputers, from the Apple II and ZX80 to the Amiga and the SAM Coupé (and the Game & Watch for some reason)

    It's really good.

I just picked up issue 100. It comes the very first issue of Retro Gamer. It's $5 more this month, but worth it for the added bonus.

FYI if you don't care about a physical magazine and think a digital copy would be ok, you can buy these on an iDevice from the Bookshelf section of the App Store for $5 per issue. Kinda sucks that you don't get a physical copy, but the App Store does allow re-downloads on apps should something happen to your device... and $5 is half off if you just want to read it and not collect physical magazines.

Haha, I just picked this up yesterday too! I even took almost the exact same pictures, to make pretty much the exact same post! Thanks for saving me the trouble.

Have you seen the Sonic article yet? I just had time to skim through the issue last night.

I've briefly paged through issue one.

Judging by Daffy's expression, I might have to check it out.

I really enjoyed looking through Issue One. The top 10 Genesis games were pretty good choices, although not necessarily what I would have chosen.

Yeah. Herzog Zwei should be on that list.

The latest issue has a couple page interview with the creator of Lucky & Wild. He mentions that the game was created to appeal to couples to drag them away from the crane and redemption games.

Yeah, I think 2000 AD is starting to do that too. It's really nice that publishers actually try to make an effort of broadening the reader base on an international level through ways like this

It's no secret that the Chao adventure game is a Tamagotchi rip-off, but to think that it could've even been Sega's attempt at a slap in the face of Bandai after that failed merger...
Maybe ? Maybe they got some ideas from Lockheed Martin too (Saturn 2) ?

I just finished the newest issue. Very nice articles on Lode Runner, PCE guide, and old type in games. I'm up to 41 issues in my collection. I haven't looked at a lot of them in years. I should have a marathon sometime.
You know who else loves Sega....

    What were the 10 ?

    Edit :

Okay got the issue, but only saw a top 9 (well actually 4 or 5).
