Yeah, but I have no experience and can't see a problem if it's there.
Look underneath the console. Occasionally if Ham-Fisted Harry mashes his controllers into the ports, he can break the delicate solder contacts with the board.

Yeah Tt's the problem, I'll never buy something used from Gamestop again...ok I probably will. How do you go about repairing it? No big deal to get it fixed if it takes a lot of work. I have an X'Eye working perfectly.![]()
You'd probably have to reconnect any broken traces. You'd either have to solder them back together or reconnect them with wires soldered on either side of the crack through the traces. You'd first have to scrape off the protective coating so that the copper traces are accessible. You could use a craft knife for this.
