O & A were syndicated out here VERY briefly. I could have sworn I heard that they got themselves canned completely. I seem to recall the public outrage, as well

They did get canned, they're on Satellite now...they claimed the mayor of Boston was killed in a car accident.
Later on they said they did it so they could get released from their contract.

I only listened to ONE political talk radio show...Larry Elder and he was taken off the air after 15 years in november. Frosty Heidi Frank, Tim Conway jr. and John and Jeff were just random and funny as hell. None of them were really political. They just talked about goofy news stories and made fun of themselves all day. It was jawusum! What sucks more is their station is being turned into a top 40 station and we only have like 9 of them in LA so God know we need another POS top 40 station.

Random BS is what I loved about Mark and Brian. I don't need a whole lotta stimulating conversation in the morning - just talk about movies and do a sketch every hour or so and I'm entertained.

Do you listen to Queens of the Stone Age? They have a whole bunch of fake radio stations on the Songs for the Death. One is " K L O N!!! Klon (clone) We play the songs that sound like more like everyone else more then anyone else"

I listened to O&A because 90% of the time it was actually pretty funny, and it was something to talk about in 7th-8th grade. When it gets a bit political it's not nearly as fun and I change it.
But we've still got Rover in the morning, which is cool because he's actually Cleveland and legit funny. Then there's that crap on Maxwell which only gets ratings because there's nothing else to listen to in the afternoon when you want talk instead of music.

My heart just isn't into making fun of Bush anymore.
