New countries used to be created all the time until the 21st century, it was the proper solution.
The short answer is that Americans are lazy, stupid, and unorganized. The division is too widespread, itís not just half the nation doesnít agree with the other, itís like, half of every neighborhood doesnít agree with the other. No one is willing to move for their political beliefs, least of all this new breed of liberals who is used to complaining enough to have their world adapt to THEM, rather than the other way around.

Itís a nice thought, though. We might need a civil war first... which will be difficult without guns.

    That's an over generalization.

While I donít entirely agree with mrmatthews I think he raises some good points. It should also be taken into mind that the states are pretty much free to govern themselves as they see fit which leads to widely varying laws in the states and laws that on some issues contradict and donít quite line up with federal law. The federal government mainly managing the economy on the federal level, foreign policy and armed forces.

The having of different states and laws is a good idea.

US politics is extremely confusing. Take the subject of 'Sanctuary Cities' for example. Cities that offer shelter for asylum seekers and illegals regardless of the ruling government's stance on the subject that such individuals are illegal aliens and therefore should be subject to removal. Surely when such cities flout and ignore their own countries laws then their funding should be cut off. I'm trying to imagine a situation here in the UK where a city just randomly decided to do it's own thing and tells the government to get fucked if they ask them to do something they don't like or agree with. It's utterly bizarre.

Alright, iíll concede that I was possibly a little harsh with my generalization, but hereís the thing: we are a culture designed around instant gratification and minimal effort. For as much Facebook courage as we all have, I think most of us, regardless of our political leanings, will find that our social convictions take a backseat to comfort and convenience. I certainly would not want to move across the country to live in an area populated by like-minded individuals. Moving is a pain in the ass.

Outside of a few right-wing nut jobs, Iím sure that most of America feels the same way.

I have no political party and voted once in my life. The reason is I agree with George Carlin.

My two cents on the matter is that both sides are pathetic. Being a pig couldn't bring down Clinton, and it's not going to bring down Trump.
The hypocrisy is the issue here. If the paid whore wasn't trashing Trump, she wouldn't be given the time of day or any legitimacy by the left wing media. She's be looked down upon as filth. Quite honestly, she is proving why she isn't better than doing porn since she is allowing herself to be manipulated by the left. People voted for Trump knowing he is a slime ball and a man who says and does what he wants. Klinton screwing an intern wasn't my concern nor anyone else's but it became an issue when he lied during grand jury testimony. Him screwing someone was his business.

There has been a few instances though. Like what about Calexit? I thought that was a good idea. If they don't like Trump, let them secede and put Hillary in charge. Then they can learn the hard way about bottomless 3rd world immigration, putting transgenders in gruesome occupations like the military, weekly LGBT parades.

But that only works to a certain extent. Like imagine if a state wanted citizenship to be based on race like Japan or Isreal, or the US in the 1800s. I doubt the federal government would allow that. This is where secession is the answer.

You guys are forgetting that whole "politics is the art of the possible thing" This is the Unites States, not a post Tito powder keg , or an uncomfortable forced union like Czechoslovakia. Yeah there's a bunch of ceaselessly crying hard core lefties with a new incomprehensible cause every week and bunch of psycho right wing nutters but for the most part people are somewhere in between those extremes. Those who are screaming everyday making so much noise are in the minority. The rest of us are lazy, tired and sick of all the racket. We would rather just live our lives. Instead we vote and thank God for the secret ballot. The extremes can scream all they want but they can't decide how I vote, well unless I'm dead but that's a whole nother story...

I think she's either genuinely horrified by Trump, or trying to parlet some regained noteriety into a new career. I don't think she's being manipulated at all. A libertarian like yourself should be above calling her a "whore", and porn is the closest form of ultimate female empowerment most women will ever see in this lifetime.
