To be fair been so many new terminator movies that completely mucked up the timeline of the movies , it will be hard to rehash a new one without it flopping !

James Cameron : We're going to make another Terminator, here are some screenshots.

World : Edgy small Latina girl.. angry flat lesbian dyke, and wine aunt Sarah Connor.. so the story is going to be about these 3 stronk women taking on
Skynet which will probably be renamed to something else, while old Arnold stumbles around quoting himself from the original two movies.. Bet they'll kill off John Connor too,
because replacing him with a STRONK woman in T3 just wasn't spiteful enough. Gotta really SHIT on the first two.

James : Cameron : I love pulling the rug out of under the audience and doing the unexpected!!

World : But you did exactly what we said you would do..

Cameron went down as saying Genishite was good at the time of it's release, then redacted that statement when the film flopped. He's excuse was he was doing it to help out the director, who was his friend.

He's made some great films, but he sure as hell can't be trusted to speak the truth.

Humanity is a joke, the sixties with its flower power and free sex were fucking followed up by the 80s filled with cocaine and machismo and porn.
If anything this SJW era will be followed up by the most masculine era ever, with big titties in every show and every problem is solved by BLOWING IT UP!

Might take a little while though, at least not until Hollywood is tired of losing so much money from these flops.
(maybe someone should remind them that purple/blue haired fat twitter ladies bitching about transgender oppression and toxic males aren't the average movie goer)

1999 issue of Electronic Games Monthly. I've been reading them the last couple of hours.

    This, this, this and this!

With regards the Terminator franchise I just do what most people do and pretend that everything after T2 doesn't exist. If I was forced to comment on the sequels post T2 I would say that T3 is deeply flawed but enjoyable enough, especially the end. Terminator Salvation is...meh, not bad but a serious missed opportunity, and Genisys and the latest effort are just so fucking bad that words fail me. The way they treat the character of John Connor just so they can fuck his character off to make way for some box ticking minority dwarf of a girl to be the new 'hero of the human resistance' is just so fucking disrespectful to both the fans and the original movies themselves. In summing up, and to quote from one of my favourite Youtube movie critics, The Critical Drinker, "Fuck off, film!"

What sucks is that there are some legitimately GOOD strong female characters that unfortunately are getting lost in this constant narrative of “women are just as good as men, except betterer.” For example, just picture Sigourney Weaver in, like, every movie ever. James Cameron himself makes movies with very strong and believable female characters, who actually feel like real women and not just a part written for a man, except they put a chick in there instead.

...Fun fact: I think I heard somewhere Ellen Rippley was supposed to be a man in Alien, but they used Sigourney Weaver instead because she has the sexiest voice ever (possibly tied with Scarlet Johansson, IDK)

Classic strong woman : DAMMIT WE HAVE THESE SAFETY RULES FOR A REASON!! I JUST WANT TO COME HOME SAFE SO I CAN SEE MY DAUGHTER AGAIN!

New strong woman : Dammit you fucking idiot, its like you're just not as amazing as I am. no wonder they chose ME to replace the original captain, since I'm
pretty much 100 times better than him and all the captains before him. and that at only 23 years old. fucking dumb white men, can't even reroute the
power coupler in 30 seconds. I bet you have a small penis too and that's why you're so angry sweetie.

Current Hollywood is not doing much favors for the women's movement.

If you want the perfect modern example. Look at CW Batwoman. When she sees the batsuit a guy tells her "It
s perfect in every way" She says " it will be when it fits a woman" or when she says in the trailer "I'm not about to let a man take credit for a woman's work" YOU ARE TAKING CREDIT FOR HIS WORK YOU FUCKING JUSTIN BIEBER LOOKING CUNT! Alien is a great example. I love strong female characters like that. But this agenda shit is so cringy.

It's like Hollywood just forgot how to write actual believable characters, why all the insults all the time? that's just cheap writing.
Who thinks actual people act like this? act like this ALL. THE. TIME.

    oh yeah right..

What I love about the late 70s and 80s horror film protagonists is they are vulnerable but mentally tough. They are scared. Not quippy. Scared but they conquer their fear and triumph anyway.

See what these films did was go from this.

    To this.

    This.

    To this.

    NOT This

    To this.

THE ONLY difference in the last one is she has super-powers in the second picture but nothing else. Literally nothing has changed. She is a smart-mouthed "cool" lady all the way through.

Sarah Conner is a waitress who is putting up with kids dumping ice cream in her pockets. She is a doormat. Ripley is an ordinary scientist and mom. End of Terminator 1. Sarah is hardned. No one will walk over her. She is in charge but still looking out. Ripley is willing to protect no matter what she is up against. Holywood forgot this. Halloween. Jodie. Nightmare on Elm Street with Nancy. List goes on.

Part of me wants to know what is going on in that pic while part of me doesn't. One part of me thinks he knows while the other says I don't. Effeminate is coming to mind.

(geek fan boy mode engaged) Segata, Ripley was a warrant officer aboard the USCSS Nostromo, not a scientist. She was third in command behind executive officer Kane and Captain Dallas. The only science officer aboard the Nostromo was Ash. (geek fan boy mode disengaged)
