    I've been buying a lot of PS2 and DS games lately, since both systems can be purchased for quite cheaply right now. I just picked up five minty PS2 games at a thrift shop for $1.50 each, and I've been buying DS and PS2 games from (**choke**) GameStop for $2 to $5 a piece.

    Honestly, the DS is a more fun system to collect for, since it has a pretty low percentage of straight ports. Most games that you can buy for it are going to be unique to the platform. However, I'm finding lately that the PS2 had a crazy amount of exclusives.

    Yep, plastic is exactly it. The GC's graphics tend to look like the 64's, for both good and bad--and there would be your distortion.

    My Dad saw that I was watching Breaking Bad this morning, he thinks I want to make/use crystal meth now.

    I thought the only reason to watch t.v. was to imitate everything we saw on it.

    Yea, if you want to collect for that generation or just fill out your game shelf, now is the time to do it. Stuff is dirt cheap.

    While game shopping the other day, I found another copy of the elusive Electroplankton for the Nintendo DS for just a touch over $11.00. Since I already have a copy, I had originally purchased it to flip it on eBay. But now that I have it, I don't think I can bare to part with it, even for the $30 or $40 profit.
