Ahh...*that guy*.

He is your special assignment there Tanegashima....a blast from 50 flintlocks simultaneously seems fitting for that guy.

Reminds me of playing "Age of Empires 2". I always played as the Turks because of their longer ranged cannons and Janissary units. Nothing quite as satisfying as softening up a enemy with cannons and trebuchet's and then marching into town with 40 Janissarys. Great times.

None of that diplomacy or dealing with the Pope shit...just flat out unit creation and enemy crushing.

I always took great joy (when playing on islands) to converting enemy transport ships only to drop of the cargo at an enemy of both myself and *that* enemy. Sure as shit made up for those tense times I had to send priests out solo to collect artifacts.

You didnt have any trouble with any of the elephant using factions?

I'm talking about rolling into town with 40 Janissary units, I drop *HOUSES* in two volleys from them guys.

Cannons are cool but they are some inaccurate S.O.B's and guns are pretty hard to use. After the enemy's initial charge their no good, I prefer flaming arrows to scare the shit out of elephants but cannon wielding elephants are a tough nut to crack. Next campaign, those factions are gonna get it good.

There aren't any cannon elephants in AOE2!

And the trebuchets are the inaccurate bastards...yet somehow the fucking computer can nail individual units with one...cheating asshole.

The only thing I hate about AOE2 is they made boats weak. I used to rule the seas in AOE, then in #2 12 fucking boats take three hours to kill a regular villager.
