    I never used the enhanced soundtrack CD the last time I played Pier Solar, because I was afraid my Model 1 Sega CD would eat it.

    I only played it for like ten mins and besides, JRPGs aren't my usual genre. Can't blame me for not having the skills that quick. Put me in front of an action adventure game ala Story of Thory (Beyond Oasis) or Soleil (Crusader of Centy) and I'd easily show you skill .

    I asked Joe about it when it first started happening to me and he was pretty befuddled. And my record is whistle-clean, so far as I know.

    So, in lieu of a proper answer, I'm just going to go with "because of black magic." Zoltor is in his basement sticking needles in a Sega-16 doll.
