Starfox snes, gsu 2 edition overclocked to 44 mhz (over 2x the original framerate).
playing a couple of racers the past couple of days, road rash on sega cd and outrun on sega genesis
Last night I played Phantasy Star II and beat Nido without much trouble. Then I went and got Amy in my party. I decided to get her up to level 9 before I did anything else because that's when she learns Sar. It took over two and a half hours of constant grinding. I didn't get done until 1:30 am. Why can't everyone else level up as fast as Nei?

Gunlord.
I wonder if anybody has beaten this game yet.
the legend of zelda a link to the past!
too old for video games huh?
I've been playing Kid Icarus Uprising on the 3DS. I've technically beaten it, since I have seen the credits roll, but anyone who's put a decent amount of time into this game knows how incredibly deep it is.
For all the bad press that this game has gotten (based on the admittedly awkward controls), I just need to give this game a well-deserved shout out. This is likely to go down as my favorite game of the year. The dialog is clever, the voice acting is top notch (voice-acted and well-written charaters? In a Nintedo game????), the graphics are beautiful and the soundtrack is amazing. Oh, and the replay value is through the roof.
Good job, Team Sora - you've made what could quite possibly be the perfect game.
Realised I hate some points on my Xbox account, so I bought the XBLA port of the original Doom. Played all the way through the first episode, loved every sec of it.
Decent port, lacks a few features (no customisable controls or widescreen support? Bah..), but it get's the job done. Will play some more when I can.
You should check out the XBLA version of Duke Nukem 3D if you don't have it. It doesn't have widescreen support either, but it does have customizable controls, and has unlockables too. Plus it includes the extra episode from the Atomic Edition.

M4R14NO94's YouTube Channel, home of some awesome (and cheesy, if we are talking about Smashing Drive's music) video game music and MegaRace 3 cutscenes (in Spanish). Now with GAME OVER YEAH!

I got Dark Messiah of Might & Magic during the Steam sale. It runs on the Source engine. The way the physics behave in this game makes it pretty hysterical. First, I was in a town and killed a crow I saw. Then I used telekinesis magic to launch it straight into the air. The crow cadaver managed to fall on a peasant NPC and instantly killed her. Later on, I was in a room with 6 enemies and a small kitchen stove in a corner. I defeated them by kiting them all to that corner and kicking them into the stove, as soon as they even touched it their whole bodies were set on fire and burned to death.
Played Phantasy Star IV for a while today. I must be getting towards the end of the game because the Bishop on Dezolis told me about Rykros. Anyway, I completed the rest of the jobs at the Hunters' Guild. That fortress with all the robots was a bitch.

^One of the best games ever made in the history of mankind.
Civilization 5 is the scariest game ever made. Fire it up at 11, feels like you're just getting started, then suddenly it's 5 AM.
