General Game Comment Thread. What are YOU Playing Today?

Playing lots of Smash Brawl,
Single Player is somewhat weak, especially compared to Melee's adventure mode. It's more or less a zany story rather than a journey through Nintendo's history, but it's gotta be done as you need to beat SSE in order to make 3 characters available through means other than 400 matches.

But multiplayer rocks with friends,
as well as online.

After a horrible day yesterday where I got sick at work, I've been lying in bed until noon today. Now I've finally gotten up and sits here listening to the sumptuous soundtest of Thunder Force III. It already feels a lot better!

Ha ha, I don't think anyone in the world could claim to live and breath megadrive as much as you zebbe, its priceless,

on another note, was playing world series baseball 95 last night and the opening theme song just said everything to me about the megadrives sound chip, powerful bassy and groovy, I wouldn't change it for the world.

Just listen to Mega Turrican's sound test too, definitely in top 5 music of a megadrive game out of the 250+ i've experienced to this date. Utterly great.

Ecco series are awesome, including the non-canon DC/PS2 game. Since I bought a Mega CD after I got the cartridges, I don't really know if I should buy the CD versions and sell off the cartridges...

I had the carts growing up but got the cd games recently and I would really recomend getting them. I have been playing them a lot recently. The cd music is great and really ads to the experience

But honestly if that is the case how do you explain my love for the most quintessential of all English games.... Cricket!

The main reason we pulled it out is because I have about 3 or 4 of the damned things festering in my collection... Any person who wants to reach the dream of 900+ megadrive titles will have to forego much pain in acquiring about 200+ sports titles of which at least half will be crappy...

How far are you in Ecco, Bomber? Have you got Tides of Time ready for when you complete it? I personally think number 2 surpasses the first in terms of awesomness.
