    Default Sega Saturn, Muffled Sound

Is it just me, or do some games on the Saturn have really muffled sound effects? Could there be something wrong with my system/cables, or are some of the games just this way.

Example: Tunnel B1, I can hear the music fine but the guns/other sound effects are drowned out. Any reason for this, or is it just the game?

I have Tunnel B1 (legit copy) and if I remember correctly, the sound effects are like that.

Does it happen in other game?

Tunnel B1 came packaged with my Saturn. That game is just pure and utter crap - bin it and play something WORTH playing like Duke Nukem 3D!

What? I LOVE Tunnel B1, not the best game, but it's better than Duke 3D, IMO.

Some Saturn games have muffled effects because the developer couldn't work their way around the limited RAM. Other developers had no problem.

I rented Tunnel B1 for PSX and at the time thought it was really impressive! I didn't realize it was also on the Saturn. Is duke3D better on the Saturn than PSX? I remember it being kinda slow on the PSX.
