I have been thinking about this idea for some time. Capture Virtua Cop as FMV and but it on sega cd. I know it would come out crappy looking but it is an idea.

It would play somewhat jerkily, if the 'death sequences' played every time you shot someone.
'camera moves through bank' -> shoot criminal -> 'death animation' -> 'camera resumes' -> shoot criminal -> 'death animation' -> 'camera resumes' etc.
Unless the criminals were 3D sprites superimposed on the action, I suppose.

You know what I mean, you pedantic git. 3D objects rendered on top of a flat 2D plane or FMV. Like Silpheed.Originally Posted by Joe Redifer

For some reason this reminded me of all the time I spent playing Dynamite Cop at the arcade.

Virtua Cop was planned for the Sega 32X though.
Panzer Dragoon? That would be ill
If 32x had castlevania, virtua cop, panzer dragoon, daytona usa, throw in virtua hamster for good measure and that there is a pretty shweet little add on!
Day-ee-to-naaaaaaaaa! God, I was rubbish when I played that in the arcades. (Probably not a thing I should go on about, really - but meh!)
I read somewhere that Descent was in development for 32x, which would have been interesting. Although I have the PS1 version and it doesn't seem to translate well to console (dodgy controls) so it might not have been good.
