I forgot that I don't have Virtua Fighter Kids yet. I dunno if that one is really worth my while but I'd get it is I found it cheap. Same for Virtua Fighter Remix.

Anyway, loving this game so far. A lot of the VF music seems to be redone, and some of it is really good. I'm not sure what track is playing right now but it kicks ass.

Just unlocked the car from Daytona USA in Fighters MegaMix. This game is insane, worth every penny.

How did you do it? I've had the game for five months and still don't have it unlocked.

While I was at a local thrift store (one that isn't exactly known for video games), I couldn't find anything good and I was ready to go, until I noticed a small basket of game carts hidden on a shelf behind a display case. All the games were for the Atari 2600, except for one SNES game with the label facing the other direction. After getting some assistance, I looked through each game and settled on the only Sega cartridge in the lot. Since there was only one 16-bit game in the basket, I decided to buy it as well. It's a shame that I passed up a bunch of nice first and third party 2600 carts, so if I get into a similar situation, I might just stick with buying Atari carts instead:

Brand New Yellow Controller and Yellow VMU for the Dreamcast.... $56 with shipping.
The smell of scorched oil hangs in the air as a premonition of danger, while the engine gloriously shouts its war cry...

I assume you've unlocked some characters, right? Each one of the single player "courses" that you beat (barring the first), unlocks 1 to 2 new playable characters, and once you beat the first 4 courses (A-D), you unlock 3 more. After you've beaten those three, you unlock course H, then (finally) once you beat course H you unlock course I. Complete course I to unlock Hornet the car.

    Hope that helps.

It's funny, Hornet counts as a Fighting Vipers character (meaning he has armor), but he is actually worse when his "hood" armor is still attached. Once that gets busted off he becomes a lot more versatile/easier to use.

e: nice buy on Alien Soldier by the way, I really want a copy but I don't really have the funds at the moment :/

    Meh

    Bionic Commando - Xbox 360

Supposedly "new," even though there was no shrinkwrap and it looked like some d-bag employee took it for a test run. But what do you want for $20?

Streets of Rage for $1. Nice!

I'm heading off to a "summer bankruptcy sale" later so let's hope I can find something good.
