Just got this at the local shop:
Ōkami for the PS2, new in seal, for €19.99.
Not a particularly great deal or anything, but I wasn't specifically looking for one. Awesome game, that's what matters.

I got something of a surprise this morning when I visited my local retro game shop/music store and found a handful of Genesis games:
Garfield: Caught in the Act (no manual)
Ariel: The Little Mermaid (complete)
Mickey & Minnie in The Great Circus Mystery (complete)
Home Alone (no manual)
If all the games were $1.99 a pop like they used to be, I probably would have gotten all four. But I couldn't justify paying $6 for Ariel (wasn't worth the embarrassment of bringing it up to the counter), and Garfield & Home Alone weren't worth $4 a piece to me. So I just got Mickey & Minnie for $5.
I also picked up Battletoads for Gameboy for $2 (with case!)
I've been waiting for this one for awhile:
$50
I sold my PSP 1000 back in September, and then had to buy another thanks to the upcoming Lunar Silver Star Harmony (I'm a sucker):
PSP 2000 (Slim) w/ 2gb Memory Stick $90

Sword of the Stranger ($20 new)
Dark Void Zero (500 Nintendo Points)
Michael Jackson's This Is It ($23 new) and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom($46 new)

I never said I was. Why would it be so fantastic just because it's MJ? Do every fan actually love everything with him?
I mean, if David Gilmour would die, I wouldn't dream of having high expectations for a movie with him, coming out the week after.
By all means, watch if you want. I'm just raising questions.
Spotted 4 SCD games in the wild, none of which I had, 3 I had planned on getting eventually. $5 each, all complete, so I saved a lot of money in shipping costs. Anything SCD in the wild is an ultra rare find in my experience.
Yet another one can be crossed off the list:
Metal Slug Anthology (US import) for the PS2, new in seal, for €19.99.
This was a real lucky shot. I had wanted to get this game, but the European PAL version is not optimized, so it was gonna have to be import. But my usual US import shops did not carry this game, or only for ridiculous prices. But as luck would have it, my local game shop happened to have a brand new copy of the US version lying in the back, and for a good price. Looks like they wanted to get rid of it, otherwise it would've been at least twice as expensive.
