Up-up-down-down-up-up....DAMMIT!
Auto RF switches don't work well on older RF systems like Atari because they don't send enough voltage down the RF cable to trip the auto RF box. For modern uses, RCA cable + RCA to coax adapter is the most convenient option. The only disadvantage is there's no daisy-chaining available. The Atari will have to go on the end of your RF chain if you have one.
Glad to hear your 2600 Jr. works though! Thanks for the rep.![]()
Interestingly enough, my Atari 7800's RF signal can go through at least 3 auto RF switches. I'm also using a really thick RCA cable, that probably helps.
Here are my latest editions:
Taito Legends & Geometry Wars: $12 /ea
Contra Hard Corps: $4
Robocop vs Terminator: $5
And the 360...I have had my 2007-build 360 for a few years now, and breakdowns have been becoming quite common. I believe I've had to fix it 5 times now. So...out with the old, and in with the new. And bonus: I won a $110 gift card @ work, so that defrayed the cost of it quite a bit.

Some great bargains so far this week;
6 very good GC titles all boxed complete £20
Streets of Rage for the MS (never even knew about this!) 99p
Exhaust Heat for the Snes (check this game out it looks awesome, mode7 racer) £3.99 pricey but I wanted it!
last but not least this lot for £16, you can never have enough boxed copies of sonic 1all the other games I don't have
and a component cable for my ps2 that I've been playing a lot more of recently 99p![]()
Awesome acquirements with Streets of Rage SMS and Exhaust Heat. That's another SNES game I must have but keep forgetting about.
I'm not even sure how I came across it now fantastic game, basically f-zero with f1 carsand as for SOR seriously impressive port to the little 8-bit console. From what I hear much better than the GG version although I've not played the GG version myself so can't say
Got a free copy of Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 64 off a friend who hasn't used his cartridge since 2001. Perfect timing because it's the only Super Smash Bros. game I'm missing and I already kept an eye out for the game any time I'd visit flea markets or pawn shops(I did find a copy, but it was $80. I would never pay that much for a Nintendo 64 game, especially not if the box is faded like hell).

continuing my Master System love this month I grabbed a copy of Xenon2 CIB £1.95, amazing how cheap MS stuff is on ebay. Used to play this on my Atari ST back in the day so a blast from the past. I contemplated getting the MD version but IMO the MS music sounds massively better than the MD version. Yeah it may run a little slow but I love that little 8-bit master piece
