Nice find Mr Matthews, how is the game?

In my opinion, those guys can just fuck off with that VGA-graded pristine sealed garbage. Last I checked, games were to be played and not collected and solely used to act like a total elitist asshole and say "Oh I have this and you don't in a sealed slab of plastic, never to be touched by human hands again."

    What a waste!

QFT. Sure, collecting is kinda cool, but don't you buy a game to, you know, fucking PLAY IT?

Newer pickups. All CIB and great shape. I feel really good about the Master of Monsters and Popful Mail prices - snagged MoM when it was first put on BIN and for Mail I asked a seller the question about condition and took a gamble when the auction didn't have any pics. Lunar is kind of more 'eh' - $40 is certainly no deal, and about the max going price I'd say.

    Master of Monsters - $28
Lunar: Silver Star Story - $39
    Popful Mail - $45

    Uncharted 3

    Tatsujin

Man, I really dig the bassline in this version - too bad it disappears as soon as you hit the fire button.

Popful Mail rocks, probably my most favorite SegaCD game, tied with the original Lunar which you have as well! I see you've got the Sega print of Lunar as well though, no foil embossing
But with that you did get the cool back insert with the misspelling (3rd line from the bottom) which is always a neat thing.

Huh, I have no idea what you're talking about. I thought there were only 7 different disks or something?

EDIT: Okay, so there was the common Sega variant first with no foil and the standard disc. Then there was a later foil variant that inside has six different disc types. Is that correct to say? So which variant does the typo come from, the foil versions?

I agree on Popful Mail being really good. I never got very far in it though, it's fucking hard!

Just got this in the mail today. The games I have are:

    Pictured:

    - Puzzle Bobble
    - Shanghai Mini
    - 2 Aruze Pachi-Slot games I don't care about
    - Sonic the Hedgehog Pocket Adventure
    - Fatal Fury: First Contact

    Not Pictured:

    - Last Blade: Beyond the Destiny
    - Metal Slug: 2nd Mission
    - Puzzle Link
    - Puyo Pop
    - Snk vs Capcom: Card Fighters Clash
    - Snk vs Capcom: Match of the Millennium
    - Neo Turf Masters

Every game accept for "Sonic the Hedgehog Pocket Adventure" and "Fatal Fury: First Contact" are CIB, and "Puyo Pop" is factory sealed!

Arg! One of my Sega pet peeves!!! It's called Lunar: The Silver Star. You gave it the PS1/Saturn name...

Anyway, my local Cash Converters was good to me today. I went in there and asked, "so, you got any Turbo or Neo Geo stuff today?" The guy (who knows I am a regular) laughs a bit and says, "no, but check the other side of the glass case you are leaning on. We just got some Sega stuff in today you'll like." I go around the case and look inside to find two Master Systems (w/controllers, phasers and hook-ups), about 50 boxed games (most turned out to be CiB) and a set of CiB 3-D glasses (yay!). The only things with prices were the two Master Systems at $120 each (WTF!?!?!). Nothing else was priced yet. So, I ask how much the 3-D glasses and games are. The guy thinks and says, "$10 if you buy them before I price them, and $5/game... buy 2 and get 1 free."

    Yeah!!!!!!!

CiB Sega Master System 3-D Glasses- $10

You can be damn sure I grabbed those glasses straight away. I also picked up about 20 games (all the non-sports/board game games). The highlights were Wonderboy III: The Dragon's Trap (still had the poster inside) and Golden Axe. $5 for those games is for sure a good deal. There were also five 3-D games (not Space Harrier 3-D unfortunately) and a few light gun games, which was cool. Since I don't collect light gun games and didn't really want the 3-D glasses, I sold them to one of my collector friends at the same price I paid. Yup, I sold those glasses for $10. We generally buy each other stuff when we see it, and just pay/trade each other back later. It's a good system we've got going. I only kept 5 of the 20 games for myself. My friend I gave/resold the games to collects pretty much everything except sports games, but I'm way more picky. Plus a already had a bunch of the games they had.

    No Phantasy Star. Boo...

Nice find on Popful Mail. Every copy of it that I've ever encountered in person had a cracked/broken case. It keeps me from buying it.

So switch the case with a cheap Sega CD game. What's wrong with that?

Yup, 1 non-foil and 6-foiled (in various amounts) versions. But 1st run (non-foil) had a typo in the back insert, which I always found interesting and almost no one talks about. I think can almost see it on your pic actually, 3rd line from the bottom in yellow text: "combat will deep you challenged until the last."

Anyway, PLAY POPFUL MAIL THOUGH! It takes a bit to get the hang of, but the voice acting is pretty darn good in my opinion, and fits the quirkiness of the game.

Yup, saw the typo. Great quality control, lol. I just started Popful Mail today. Menus are funky but the voice acting really brings the game to life, and I like Wonderboy in Monster World (which is what this reminds me of).

Pickup from a little while ago, just now snapped some photos:

As a HUGE Oasis/Thor fan, pretty much had to have these Japanese strategy guides. As far as I know these are the only two types ever made for the game, and I don't think that Beyond Oasis/Story of Thor ever got any sort of guide. If you know I'm wrong, please tell me! The inner page shots are from the guide on the left - it's the one I'd recommend since it has a comic and a lot of character art. The one on the right is mostly screenshots and such. Both are full color, though!

Not a haul, but it seemed fitting for those of use who dig through Craigslist to find stuff:
