Grabbed a CDX off ebay for $150. Unit came with 1 3 button, 1 6 button, and the official power adapter. Sadly, no A/V cable, and I have a model 1 genny, so I can't test it yet as the one I ordered didn't show up yet.

But, it powers on fine, and the overall shape is very good. Other than some green marker on the underside it doesn't have a single scratch on it, and only 1 tiny scuff mark near the line out jack.

The recent Game Sack episode got me wanting to revisit DKC, so I picked up the DKC2 for the GBA for $11.99 and I plan on getting the other two for it as well.
You know who else loves Sega....

After days and days of waiting, a nice little package arrived in the mail today.

    9 complete-as-hell GameBoy games for $220 shipped.

That means I paid just under $25 each for these games (two of which I already own CIB)...

...but it also means that I paid just under $25 for each of these games...

Just for comparison, last time I saw a CIB copy of Stop That Roach come up on ebay, it was bid up to around $150.

^^^ Those last four gameboy games sure looks very interesting to play, it's a shame I don't see them in wild anymore due to cutthroat collectors and resellers.

P.S. Mr.Smith, your guts is STILL mine! As a orange werewolf, I should rip out your guts the most painful way that you'll ever imagine! I guarantee this will happen one day! I should eat it like a king.

Found this little gem for $5.35 after tax today after work.

Yeah, it's kind of a crap game, but it's CIB and in excellent condition. Who the hell keeps THIS game in near-mint condition, and ONLY trades in this one game? It's the kind of find that makes you think that it was actually part of a much larger trade-in package, but all the good games got snatched up right before you got there.

That's some Game Boy porn right there, if you asked me. Nicely done.

    Poy Poy - eBay, $29.47

I usually try to wait until I've picked up a few things before I post in here, but this game is worthy of its own post. If you know about Poy Poy, you're a true G. If you don't know about Poy Poy, you better check yourself before you wreck yourself homeboy! The best way I can describe it is kinda like Bomberman. But different. And better. This is like, the reason to own a psx multitap (I gotta get one of those now!). It's typically listed as like a $40 to $50 as a buy it now, so I'm pretty happy with the auction price I paid.

I know I'm gonna regret this, but I don't care anymore. Cheater and Villahed94 wanted to see this, that's enough incentive for me.

Here are all my Neo purchases up to this point, spanning back to around this same time, last year. I started really buying things last fall.

Neo Geo home system. Japanese, unmodded. Came with a kidney bean controller and hookups - $165 shipped (shipping was $38)
    NAM-1975, CIB - $35 shipped
Magician Lord, CIB - $30 shipped
World Heroes 2 Jet, CIB - $35 shipped
Fatal Fury, box and cart - $35 shipped
King of Fighters '95, cart only - $25 shipped
Ghost Pilots, cart only - $10 shipped

Neo Geo MV-1AX PCB, w/Metal Slug 3 and Slug 4 kit box - $120 shipped
Supergun - probably $100 in parts, with an NTSC encoder
    Two custom-made Neo controllers - $35
    World Heroes 2 - $15 shipped
    Samurai Shodown - $15 shipped
    Metal Slug - $35 shipped
    Metal Slug 2 - $45 shipped
    Bust-A-Move (legit) - $45 shipped
Ninja Commando (JP) - $35 shipped
The Last Blade - $35 shipped
King of Fighters 2003, complete kit - $43 shipped

What a fantastic collection you got there, Guntz. It must have been pretty expensive to you.

MrMatthews, that is one fantastic Game Boy haul! I love collecting Game Boy/Color games, when it comes to Nintendo's "cardboard box" games, that's about all I care to deal with. Especially jealous in regards to Kwirk, Legend of the River King, Catrap and Alleyway. Man, nice stuff.
