I paid $15 for the N64 controller and $19 for the 3DO controller. If you think that N64 controller looks weird, then, I completely agree with you. It does look like a mess, but it's actually really comfortable. I think it's better then the Hori Mini! It's supposed to be called a Super Pad 64, but mine doesn't have the logo on it like others. Strange. Now the 3DO controller I may have paid a tad too much for. The only decent place to find 3DO stuff is ebay and none of the ebay sellers want to ship to Canada. Besides, this is the best 3DO controller. It has a built in headphone jack with volume slider.

Now the store had 6 Sega Genesis systems behind the glass with the rest of their consoles. I thought that was quite a lot. Then I noticed their overstock:

SO MANY GENESIS SYSTEMS! Ever wanted a specific motherboard? I'm sure they got it.

that genesis pic makes me sad.
The smell of scorched oil hangs in the air as a premonition of danger, while the engine gloriously shouts its war cry...

Throughout history, suspicion has always bred conflict. The real conflict, though, resides in people's hearts. This conflict has just begun.

Tempted to see if they have any VA4 Genesis 2's.

Also thanks for re-posting the picture. I hate when I make a post and it's the last post on the page.

They'd probably only let you look if you promise to buy something.

^Nice over-under. That looks like the Ferrari of shotguns. Did it bring all that equipment with it?

    Yep,
    Perazzi MX2000/8 Skeet Combo
2 Barrel set, with Briley Ultralight Sub Gauge Tubeset and tools...and Aluminum Americase...

It cost a bit more than a Neo Geo collection...

I'm not sure if I'll ever want to spend that much money on a firearm, but congrats to you. It's a beautiful gun indeed.

So, tell me (but be honest); now that you have it with you, is it really worth it? Or what percentage of the price would you say came with the brand name?

In ALL honesty the gun is actually worth it, the quality goes with the brand name, they are unlike 90% of the O/U out there and are exceptionally well built. There are these models out there with over a million registered shots through them without any failures beyond basic upkeep and spring replacement, other than Krieghoff which is in the same realm of price can really claim that reliability.

The balance, fit, feel and just overall comfort of the gun IMHO can't be beat, they are truly a great product. On the other hand you do not NEED to go to this level, one can do just fine spending half the money I did. But the differences, no matter how nuanced, are there and are worth the money.

I'm still baffled by the number of firearm-related things I want to currently buy with less than one 10th of the price that that thing is going for. It's just insane. Where will you keep it?

Congrats on that gun, looks very nice. I trust the price is a little too unspeakable?

In my safe lol, where else?

I completely understand! But I'm not really into handguns or rifles, I like to shoot skeet and do a little hunting.

I have my Colt for defense and I rarely shoot it to be honest, I have a bird gun (nice 20 Gauge over under) and this. It's what I enjoy, I've had many people tell me "my god you spent that much!?" but then when they sit back and analyze their massive collections they've compiled over the years, more often than not it FAR exceeds what I've spent on my 3 guns.

On the Price...well let's say I spent "enough" on it.
