    Default best power strip/surge protector?

I'm looking for a surge protector since every game system feels it necessary to use gigantic transformer plugs. In order of priority:

#1 has HORIZONTALLY configured plugs that can accommodate large A/C adapters side by side without having to skip sockets

#2 relatively cheap ($15 shipped), I don't need battery backup or for it to remember my cousins birthday, all it needs to do is provide power and provide some sort of surge protection

#3 isn't one of those gay "squid" style protectors with the plugs going everywhere, that is such a sloppy solution.

    anyone have suggestions?

    I'm thinking of these three:

    http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-Pivot-S...513001&sr=8-25

    http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-SurgeMa...513151&sr=8-46

    http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-Protect...513303&sr=8-39

I think the last one may be the best, but just want to hear any suggestions before buying.

Honestly, I use the Squid, and I LOVE IT! It's not sloppy if you've got things pretty much under control, it's pretty easy to swap out if needed, and it's awesome when people walk in your room and point "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING" hanging by your whole set up.
